All About Additions LLC is an Edison, New Jersey building company built around a single specialty: adding usable, well-constructed square footage to homes that families do not want to leave. We operate as a hands-on general contractor, not a broker who hands your home to whichever crew is free. President Rick Balas has more than 40 years in construction and stays personally involved in estimating and site oversight, so the person who prices your project is the person accountable for how it gets built. Fifteen years in business and more than 200 completed projects later, that structure has not changed — and most of our calendar still comes from referrals and repeat clients.

Every engagement starts the same way: a free on-site visit where we look at your existing structure, talk through what you actually need the new space to do, and tell you plainly what is realistic. You get a fixed written scope and an honest number rather than a low placeholder figure that climbs later. During construction you have one point of contact, a schedule you can hold us to, and a jobsite that is protected, sealed off, and swept at the end of each day. We pull our own permits and meet the township inspectors ourselves, coordinating rough framing, mechanicals, and inspections so your home is never left open to the weather longer than necessary. Projects close out with a written punch list you sign off on and manufacturer warranty documentation for the materials we installed.
